About the Event

Are you interested in competing in Wilmington Kitchen Collective's first-ever Mac & Cheese Day Contest?

Help us celebrate the legacy of Chef James Hemings by preparing this world-famous soul food dish that he helped popularize in America. Take pictures and/or video of you making your mac & cheese at home, tag us in your posts, and a winner will be chosen in two categories: the Classic Dish [noodles, cheese and seasonings] & Everything But the Kitchen Sink [as fancy or dressed up as you want to make it].

One winner in each category will be awarded a ShopRite Gift Card [valued at $100], WKC Swag, and bragging rights for the year!

Once we receive your registration, you will be sent an official set of rules to participate. Entries will be judged on creativity, how well your posts show off your recipe, and how well you follow the official instructions.
